Synectics Inc. in Alberta seeks a Litigation Associate with 2-5 years of experience to join a growing practice in Lethbridge. The role offers immediate file carriage, independent case management, and regular court exposure.

You will receive mentorship from experienced lawyers and handle a diverse range of matters while collaborating with a supportive team to deliver effective legal services.

Competenze

• 2–5 years of litigation experience, with exposure to a broad range of matters.
• JD or LL.B. degree.
• Member in good standing with the Law Society of Alberta.
• Experience in general litigation, contractual disputes, estates, judgment enforcement, insurance claims, liability, negligence, employment, and personal injury.
• Strong legal research, drafting, and advocacy skills.
• Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
• Ability to manage files independently while working collaboratively with a team.
• Strong client communication and relationship management skills.

Mansioni

• Independently manage a diverse litigation caseload with support from senior lawyers.
• Prepare for and participate in mediations and pre-trial conferences.
• Represent clients in chambers applications and court proceedings.
• Handle questionings and other litigation-related appearances.
• Provide strategic legal advice and maintain strong client relationships.
• Manage litigation deadlines and ensure compliance with procedural rules.
• Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, applications, and other legal documents.
• Collaborate with colleagues to deliver effective legal services.
