Litigation Associate - Caribbean / Commercial Law

WeirFoulds LLP is seeking a junior lawyer at the Associate level to join our Caribbean Commercial Litigation Practice Group.

Responsibilities include:

  1. Having 1-2 years of relevant litigation experience, from Canada, the Caribbean, the UK, or other Commonwealth jurisdictions.
  2. Demonstrating strong legal, advocacy, and organizational skills.
  3. Possessing excellent academic credentials.
  4. Willingness to work evenings and weekends as needed to meet client demands.
  5. Flexibility to work unpredictable hours, including international travel.
  6. Ability to collaborate with lawyers at all levels and work effectively as part of a team.
  7. Being committed, self-motivated, innovative, and adaptable to balance multiple demands.
  8. Confidence to independently manage files and client relationships.

The successful candidate will work on challenging, sophisticated litigation cases with a diverse client base and may involve international travel.

Admittance to practice law in Canada and possession of a Legal Education Certificate (LEC) is a plus.
