Job description

VFS Global, the world’s largest outsourcing and technology services specialist for governments and diplomatic missions worldwide, is currently hiring a Submission Officer at our Visa Application Center in Toronto. The office specializes in supporting end-to-end visa application operations, ensuring quality and compliance with established processes.

Language Requirements: Written and verbal communication skills in Lithuanian are preferred.

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Document scrutiny and collection of applications for visa processing.
  2. Handle customer/applicant queries via email, telephone, or in person.
  3. Handle cash and bank-related transactions with 100% accuracy when assigned.
  4. Record and maintain all application data, ensuring accurate and timely data entry with zero errors.
  5. Manage administration and logistics of passport delivery to the consulate, applicant, or logistics company.
  6. Maintain compliance with standard operating procedures and manuals.
  7. Inform applicants about available Value Added Services and ensure their delivery.
  8. Encourage applicants to provide feedback on services and overall experience.
  9. Complete the entire process within the mandated Turnaround Time.
  10. Assist Deputy Manager / Operations Manager in executing WB Project.

EXPERIENCE / QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED :

  1. Fluent in English is required.
  2. Bilingual skills and fluency in Lithuanian are preferred.
  3. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both Lithuanian and English.
  4. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification.
  5. Proficient in Microsoft Office packages.
  6. Strong attention to detail and high accuracy under tight timelines.
  7. Flexible and willing to work additional hours if needed.
  8. Attractive pay.
