Safeway Liquor in Calgary, Alberta is seeking a Liquor Clerk to deliver a superior shopping experience. You will engage customers with enthusiasm, process transactions, and help maintain shelves and displays.

The role requires handling alcohol sales, following policies, and supporting teammates. Must be legally eligible to sell liquor, and ProServe certification is preferred or obtained within 30 days of hire.

Qualifications

• Must be of legal age to sell Liquor products.
• ProServe Certification, or willingness to obtain within 30 days of hire.
• Availability to work flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 40lbs.

Responsabilités

• Work in a fast-paced environment while providing exceptional service.
• Process sales at the register and handle cash, debit and credit transactions.
• Assist with inventory counts, price changes, signage and promotional displays.
• Receive and unpack deliveries, rotate stock, and replenish shelves.

We have an immediate opportunity for a customer driven; community engaged and results oriented individual to join our team as a Liquor Clerk. This role is critical to providing a superior shopping experience by interacting with customers in an enthusiastic, solution focused and knowledgeable approach. Ensuring stock is replenished on shelves, process sales at the register and adhering to all Liquor policies and procedures are critical to success in this position.
