The Toronto-Dominion Bank (Canada) is offering a 4‑month co‑op/internship in Treasury Liquidity Measurement – Analytics & Reporting in Toronto, Ontario. You will deliver liquidity metrics, build scalable analytics workflows, and help ensure data quality for internal and regulatory reports.

Ideal candidates are pursuing an under‑grad in finance, analytics, or quantitative fields, with strong programming (Python/SQL/R) and BI skills (Tableau/PowerBI/Alteryx).

Qualifications

• Experience with programming for extract transform load (ETL) operations and data analysis (including performance optimisation) using languages such as, but not limited to, Python, SQL and R.
• Experience in developing data visualisation and business intelligence solutions using tools such as, but not limited to, Tableau, Alteryx, PowerBI, and front‑end technologies and languages.
• Understanding of key liquidity regulations like LCR, and NSFR, and ILST is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Delivering regular and reliable liquidity metrics, analytics & insights based on deep understanding of the firm’s businesses and its client activities.
• Building robust, systematic & efficient workflows, processes and procedures around the production of liquidity analytics for both management and regulatory reporting.
• Responsible for quality, timeliness and completeness of the underlying data used to produce internal and regulatory metrics and reporting.
• Solid understanding and experience with building Controls and Governance framework to ensure lower operational risk.
• Measuring, analysing and explaining the key liquidity risk metrics such as the Liquidity Coverage Ratio (LCR), Net Cumulative Cash Flow (NCCF) and Net Stable Funding Ratio (NSFR).
• Ensure all analysis is complete and accurate with thorough commentary, while escalating issues in a timely manner.
