About the job Linux Sys Admin with DevOps experience

As a Linux/DevOps Engineer you will be an instrumental part of our clients engineering team and will be the key person keeping all of their systems operational. Come join a highly collaborative team of skilled engineers with a passion for quality.

Responsibilities:

• Install, configure and security harden Centos OS Linux
• Install Apache, configure Vhosts, SSL, modules
• Install PHP, configure PECL/PEAR libraries, PHP.ini
• Setup database connectivity to MySQL via UnixODBC and FreeTDS
• Install and setup Solr, Elasticsearch
• Install, manage and maintain Redis for RedisCluster
• Install SupervisorD
• Install RabbitMQ in HA cluster mode
• Install and configure Nginx. Install and configure NodeJS, Socket.io, AngularCLI, Forever
• Deploy and configure software on application servers
• Deploy IaC through Terraform in Azure
• Configure IaC of Azure cloud infrastructure using Ansible

Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in computer science or related field
• 5+ years of experience working as a Linux/DevOps Engineer
• 4+ years of experience with Linux System Administration
• Experience working within the Azure Cloud highly preferred
• Versed at setting up SystemD processes, Cron jobs, SELINUX, parsing logfiles, configuring logical and physical partitions
• 2+ years of experience with Terraform and Ansible
• 1+ years of experience working with CI/CD pipelines
• Comfortable with Git/ BitBucket
• Comfortable with proxying, load balancing, sticky sessions, regex, modifying headers, LUA scripting
