Job summary

Intelcom | Dragonfly in Canada’s last‑mile network seeks an Embedded Linux Software Developer to turn validated Proofs of Concept into production‑ready solutions, maintain deployed embedded systems, and support operations across the network.

You will work with C# .NET on Linux with containers (Balena OS) and Raspberry Pi CM4, provide technical leadership, and ensure reliability, documentation and scalable IoT deployments across the network.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering or equivalent.
• Experience developing defensively coded C# .NET applications.
• Experience delivering production‑grade software/hardware‑integrated solutions.
• Experience turning PoCs into operational products.
• Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead transition of PoCs into production‑ready solutions with architectures, standards, tools and deployment practices.
• Provide technical leadership and SME in embedded systems and warehouse automation across the network.
• Maintain and evolve scalable IoT systems running C# on Linux Kernel via Balena OS containers, ensuring reliability and performance.
• Act as technical reference and escalation point for production systems and guide internal teams.
• Support rollout, monitoring, stabilization and continuous improvement of new deployments.
