Job summary

Jokey North America Inc. in Ontario is seeking Line Operators to join our manufacturing team. You will perform continuous visual inspection, quality control, and support packaging and labeling tasks on a fast-paced production line.

Responsibilities

• Continuous visual inspection of products.
• Continuous quality control in accordance with the control plan.
• Document quality results and report scrap production numbers.
• Supply the IML magazines with IML labels.
• Inform the Cell Lead-Hand when non-conformities occur.
• Remove product from the machines and pack the product pursuant to the production order.
• Hang two order labels on the packaging unit. Maintain the pallet order sequence.
• Transport full pallets to the intermediate storage area.
• Transport the rejects to the scrap staging area.
• Maintain general cleanliness and order in the work area.

Job description

Salary Range: CA$21.20 To CA$22.20 Hourly

We are looking for Line Operators to join the Jokey North America team!

The Jokey Group consists of 14 production sites in 11 countries, employing over 2,500 employees and supplying customers in over 80 countries. We manufacture high quality injection moulded plastic buckets and lids for food and non-food items. Using monoplastics, we aim to decrease our environmental impact, and strengthen our contributions towards the development of a sustainable and circular economy.

This position is on a set Continental schedule.

Night Shift - 6:00pm-6:00am

Day Shift - 6:00am-6:00pm

Position Responsibilities:

• Continuous visual inspection of products;
• Continuous quality control in accordance with the control plan;
• Document quality results and repot scrap production numbers;
• Supply the IML magazines with IML labels;
• Inform the Cell Lead-Hand when non-conformities occur;
• Remove product from the machines and pack the product pursuant to the production order;
• Hang two (2) order labels on the packaging unit. The order labels are printed with the production order number. The sequence of the pallets must be maintained;
• Transport the full pallets to the intermediate storage area;
• Transport the rejects to the scrap staging area;
• General cleanliness and order in the work area;
