Job summary

Olive Garden Canada is seeking a passionate line cook to support delivering high-quality recipes and plate presentation while upholding the highest safety and sanitation standards in a fast-paced kitchen.

In this role you will perform line checks, maintain cleanliness, follow food safety logs, and contribute to a welcoming, team-oriented dining room. Prior line cook experience is preferred with food safety certification a plus.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication, social and organizational skills.
• Willing to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Food Safety certification or willingness to obtain within 3 months.

Responsibilities

• Complete line check pars to ensure that enough product is prepared and kept ready for service.
• Ensure the quality of food is outstanding each and every time.
• Plate food to specifications to create a great dining experience.
• Perform opening & closing procedures as instructed.
• Keep your work area, utensils & product equipment in a clean, sanitized state at all times.
• Complete cleaning jobs outlined by management teams.
• Adhere to all Food Safety policies and procedures.
• Complete Food Safety logs, as required.
