Your daily pursuit is preparing flavorful dishes that fuel our guests' adventures, using fresh, local ingredients to bring a taste of the region to every plate!

What will your compensation be?

The starting salary for this position is $20.00 per hour.

What will you do in this job?

The Food and Beverage Cook will provide excellent guest experiences through the careful preparation and cooking of food items while offering friendly, professional interaction with all of our guests. Candidate will consistently work in a manner that provides a safe and enjoyable experience for guests, co-workers, and self. This position is based at Farm & Fire in Banff.

Responsibilities include:

• Act with integrity, honesty, and knowledge that promote the culture, values, and mission of Pursuit.
• Maintain a calm demeanor during periods of high volume or unusual events.
• Provide guests with exceptional service at all times.
• Follow operational policies and procedures.
• Ensure all areas of the work environment are clean and free of debris.
• Ensure that the work environment is safe and free of hazards.
• Maintain regular and consistent attendance and punctuality.
• Prepare foodstuffs in accordance with recipes and health codes.
• Cook food in accordance with recipes and health codes.
• Clean and maintain work areas.

What skills and experience do you need for this job?

• Strong customer service skills.
• Some previous cooking experience.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Food Safe certification is an asset.
• All employees must consent to a criminal record check to uphold our commitment to being “Always Honest”.
