Job description

The Arlington Hotel is a boutique, historic hotel in the heart of Paris, Ontario. Job Types:

Wages:

$19-22/hr

Responsibilities & Requirements
  • 1-2 years' experience in culinary industry is an asset
  • Prepare and execute service for restaurants and banquets including weddings, socials, corporate, and celebrity events
  • Knowledge of food handling and sanitation standards
  • Well-developed knife skills and various food preparation techniques
  • Learn menu details; participate in food production and plating
  • Maintain product consistency and minimize waste
  • Positive, outgoing, and friendly team player
  • Strong problem-solving abilities
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Safe Food Handlers Certificate is an asset
  • Culinary trade papers or Red Seal considered an asset
  • Flexible availability including evenings and weekends
