Hi There! We are hoping to find a wonderful daytime, part-time babysitter for our 16 month old daughter (we have another two daughters, aged 8 and 11, but they'll be at school). The position would start at the beginning of April, but we're flexible to your timing if you're currently finishing up your school year at post-secondary.

We live in Grand Pre NS and own a couple of businesses in Wolfville. We're looking for a lovely babysitter to come and be with our little one a couple of mornings a week, 9am-12pm, preferably Tuesdays and Thursdays, but Wednesdays and Fridays can also be considered. My husband works at our businesses and I work in my downstairs office, so I'll be onsite if any emergency happens!

Responsibilities:

1. Genuinely enjoy interacting positively with children.
2. Play, sing, and read lots of books.
3. Take her out for walks and lots of fresh-air-playtime.
4. Supervise a snack time (food will be prepared by me).
5. Have a sense of fun, but be firm, not mean, when it comes to discipline.
6. If it's a quiet time, sweep the floors, tidy up any toys/games, and do dishes.
7. Be reliable and honest.
8. Respect our family's approach to no tech around kids (no taking pictures, no scrolling social media, no TV, etc.).
