Job summary

Boston Pizza in Calgary is seeking a Line Cook to join our kitchen team. You will prepare and cook food to Boston Pizza standards, work during busy service periods, and help keep the kitchen clean and organized.

This role values teamwork, a positive attitude, and the ability to work late-night and closing shifts. Training is provided, and there are growth opportunities within the restaurant and Boston Pizza network.

Qualifications

• Prior kitchen or line cook experience is an asset, but training can be provided.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook food according to Boston Pizza standards.
• Work efficiently during busy and high-volume service periods.
• Follow food safety and sanitation procedures.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe kitchen.
• Complete closing duties and ensure the kitchen is ready for the next shift.
• Work closely with the kitchen and front-of-house teams to provide an excellent guest experience.

We're looking for aLine Cook to join our team at Boston Pizza. If you enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, take pride in preparing quality food, and work well as part of a team, we'd love to have you on board!

As a Line Cook, you'll play an important role in delivering great food and a great guest experience while helping keep the kitchen clean, organized, and ready for the next day.

What We're Looking For

• Availability to work late-night and closing shifts
• Ability to stay calm and focused during busy rush periods
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
• A positive attitude and willingness to learn
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen
• Pride in food quality, cleanliness, and organization
• Previous kitchen or line cook experience is an asset, but training can be provided for the right candidate

Compensation

• Starting wage: $15.00/hour
• Additional tips: approximately $2.50 - $3.00/hour
• Estimated total earnings: approximately $17.50 - $18.00/hour, depending on hours and tip distribution
