Leading cosmetics manufacturer in Scarborough is looking for a Line Cleaner to start ASAP!

Full-time position, 40 hrs/week.

Working location: Scarborough, ON (Sheppard & Brimley)

Night Shift: 10:30 PM to 6:30 AM, Sunday night to Friday morning, 40 hours per week

Afternoon Shift: 2:30 PM to 10:30 PM, Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week

Job Duties:

• Inspect equipment prior to use to prevent discrepancies
• Use proper cleaning agents and sanitize under GMP guidelines and department SOPs
• Assemble and disassemble equipment
• Prepare for cleaning and sanitization for processing within health and safety guidelines

Department SOP:

• Proactively identify and resolve safety concerns
• Observe and conform to all corporate EH&S guidelines and procedures
• Adhere to established Lockout / Tagout programs
• Maintain a clean work environment on the production floor and within the maintenance shop
• Conform to all ergonomic assessment requirements
• Maintain a clean, orderly work area according to GMP guidelines

Job Qualifications:

• Secondary School diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of one year in machine operation and plant sanitization
• Able to do heavy lifting up to 50 lbs
• Good mechanical knowledge is an asset
• Knowledge of small tools and light assembly
• A clean criminal background is required
