eZone staffing LLC is seeking an engineering designer to develop detailed design drawings, BOMs, and technical specifications for manufacturing in the LED lighting sector.

You will create 2D/3D drawings, electrical wiring diagrams, and shop drawings, modify BOMs in PDM, and collaborate cross-functionally. Strong proficiency in SolidWorks, AutoCAD, and PDM are required, with communication in English or French. Ontario-based role with potential hybrid work.

Competenze

• 3+ years of product design or drafting experience.
• College diploma in Industrial Design, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
• Proficient in SolidWorks, AutoCAD and PDM systems.
• Experience with LED lighting industry is a plus.
• Strong project management, organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to interpret technical and electrical drawings.

• Develop technical solutions for modified and custom lighting products
• Create detailed part, sub-assembly, and assembly drawings (2D/3D)
• Produce electrical wiring diagrams and installation instructions
• Prepare customer-facing engineering shop drawings
• Modify and validate Engineering BOMs in PDM systems
• Maintain accuracy of BOMs, part drawings, and product designs
• Support improvements and updates to existing products
• Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams
• Build mock-ups and prototypes for evaluation
