Compass Group Canada in Windsor, Ontario is seeking a Housekeeper to perform light cleaning duties in a healthcare environment. You will clean and disinfect areas, damp mop floors, and remove waste while maintaining confidentiality and safety protocols.

The role requires good English, ability to follow instructions, and physical capability to lift up to 20 pounds. Prior housekeeping experience is an asset.

Responsabilidades

• Clean and disinfect areas and items (vents, windows, walls, glass, doors, mirrors).
• Damp mop hard floors.
• Check primary areas (lobbies, stairwells) and clean as required.
• Remove all garbage from resident rooms and common areas.
• Maintain confidentiality of resident and personnel information.
• Maintain a safe environment and use wet floor signs as needed.
• Adhere to health and safety guidelines.
• Report injuries and hazards to supervisor.
• Respond to emergency cleanups as required.

How You Will Make An Impact

You will be responsible for performing light cleaning duties that maintain the establishment in a clean and orderly manner.

As a Housekeeper, You Will

• Clean and disinfect areas and items such as, vents, interior windows, walls, glass, doors, and mirrors
• Damp mop hard floors
• Check all primary areas, lobbies, stairwells, clean as required
• Remove all garbage from resident/patient rooms and common areas
• Maintain confidentiality of all resident and personnel information
• Maintain a safe environment at all times (e.g. use of wet floor signs)
• Perform duties according to health and safety guidelines
• Report all injuries and hazards to the supervisor immediately
• Responding to emergency cleanups as required

About You

• Previous housekeeping experience, preferably in healthcare, hotel or commercial cleaning, is an asset.
• Strong time management and organizational skills to be able to manage heavy workload.
• Good command of English language, both verbal and written.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Physical ability to perform all aspects of the job, including requirements to lift up to 20 pounds
