CarePartners seeks Personal Support Workers to assist patients and families in the Amherstburg/ Harrow ON area, delivering compassionate, in-home care and daily living support.

Offer includes competitive wages from $20.96 to $23.20 per hour, a $750 signing bonus, paid mileage, orientation, benefits, and ongoing training. Candidates must hold a PSW certificate or be enrolled in a nursing program and have a valid driver’s license with vehicle access.

Qualifications

• Valid certificate as a Personal Support Worker, Internationally Trained Nurse, Health Care Aid, Developmental Support Worker, Home Support Worker, or enrollment in a Nursing program.
• Current vulnerable sector check screening and clear background check.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with daily living activities, including personal care, household tasks, respite care, medication support, and special functions.
• Maintain a safe environment with proper body mechanics, safe transfer techniques, and home safety practices.
• Provide cognitive, social, and emotional support to patients.
• Prepare nutritious, varied, and economical meals per the care plan and dietary needs.

What The Role Involves
