Job summary

Meynardo Catu Sevilla based in Scarborough, ON invites applications for a Light duty cleaner. Position is permanent, full-time with 30 to 40 hours per week. You will perform floors cleaning, dusting, vacuuming, bed making, and general housekeeping on site.

Fluency in English is required; Tagalog is an asset. WHMIS certificate is required. There are no formal education requirements. Health benefits and housing options may be discussed during onboarding.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors.
• Dust furniture and fixtures.
• Vacuum carpets, area rugs, draperies and upholstery.
• Make beds and change sheets.
• Clean, disinfect and polish kitchens and bathrooms.
• Pick up debris and empty trash cans.
• Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties.
• Launder clothing and household linens.
• Possibly assist with shopping for food and supplies.

• The candidate will be expected to sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors.
• The candidate must dust furniture.
• The candidate will be expected to vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies, and upholstered furniture.
• The candidate will be expected to make beds and change sheets.
• The candidate will be expected to clean, disinfect, and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances.
• The candidate will be responsible for picking up debris and emptying trash cans.
• The candidate must go shopping for food and household supplies.
• The candidate must perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties.
• The candidate must launder clothing and household linens.

Job Requirements

• The candidate should be fluent in English language.
• There are no standard education requirements such as a bachelor's degree, a certificate, or a diploma.
• Candidate having experience is an asset.
• Fluency in Tagalog is an asset.
• The candidate must have a WHMIS (Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System) certificate.
• The candidate should be organised and flexible in nature.
