Job summary

Unimax, a leading tire distributor in Canada, is seeking a forklift operator for the tire distribution division Distribution Stox. The role involves lifting and moving tires, staging shipments, and maintaining inventory in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

This temporary 40-hour-per-week position offers potential permanency, with overtime and a referral program. You must be legally eligible to work in Canada and able to pass safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 months to 1 year experience driving a stand-up Raymond/Crown lift (mandatory), preferably in a narrow aisle environment.
• Must not be afraid of heights as the lift trucks go up to 30’ high.
• Be in excellent physical shape and be able to lift heavy loads.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Fit to work in a tire warehouse.

Responsibilities

• Drive a lift truck and move tires and merchandise.
• Store tires and merchandise in the warehouse.
• Prepare shipments for customers.
• Fill out incoming/outgoing documents.
• Keep an inventory of tires and merchandise.
• Adjust product locations as needed.
• Maintain a safe work environment and follow health and safety policies.
• Participate in general warehouse maintenance.
