Overview:

$20.00 / hour

Candidates must be at least 16 years old.

Requirements: Valid Bronze Cross Certificate.

Join our Canada’s Wonderland team and help keep guests safe at our pools in Splash Works Water Park.

Responsibilities include:

• Completing opening and closing procedures.
• Scanning and dispatching guests courteously.
• Ensuring the safe and efficient operation of water attractions.
• Enforcing safety procedures and proper riding positions.
• Providing guest service and assistance.

Qualifications include:

• You!
• Minimum age of 16 years.
• Current Bronze Cross certification.
• Strong swimming skills; pass a swimming test: 50m for shallow water guard, 200m for deep water guard.
• Ability to exit a pool or attraction without ladders, steps, or zero-depth exits.
• Swim 3m underwater and retrieve a 10lb brick (shallow guard).
• Perform a surface dive to retrieve a brick and tread water for 2 minutes (deep guard).
• Attend and pass Ellis Lifeguard training (on-site).
• Attend bi-weekly in-service training.
• Availability for extended outdoor work and flexible shifts, including weekdays, weekends, evenings, and holidays.
