The key responsibilities of this position include promoting water safety, enforcing pool rules, and maintaining a clean and safe environment for all guests and owners. The lifeguard will also provide superior customer service to resort guests and owners to ensure smooth daily operations.

Hourly Rate of $17.43 (Instructors will receive a $1.00/hour top-up for instructional hours worked).

WHAT WILL I BE DOING?
  • Act appropriately in emergency procedures (as trained);
  • Make recommendations to Supervisor on issues that will enhance guest experience;
  • Maintain cleanliness of the facility, including entranceways, lobby, multi-purpose and first aid rooms, pool, deck, and change rooms;
  • Ensure pool decks, chairs, hot tub areas, and equipment are clean and well organized;
  • Promptly follow up on guest requests, questions, and concerns;
  • Enforce pool rules (e.g., smoking, drinking, reserving chairs);
  • Document damage, maintenance issues, and missing inventory items;
  • Interact with guests and homeowners to provide accurate resort information.
WHAT DO WE NEED FROM YOU?
  • NL Certification required;
  • First Aid with CPR 'C' required;
  • Recertification of awards to remain current;
  • Partial high school completion;
  • Previous customer service experience;
  • Must be at least 15 years old as per Ontario legislation.
