Job description

Camp Banting is a summer camp for children living with type 1 diabetes. Our leadership program, 'Challengers' participates in a 5 day, 4 night canoe camping trip. We are looking for a lifeguard to accompany our campers and leadership facilitators on this trip.

Responsibilities:

1. Accompany campers and leadership facilitators on the canoe camping trip.
2. Conduct all lifeguarding duties.

Requirements:

1. Must have Bronze Cross and/or NLS certificate, and provide proof.
2. Must have or complete a Vulnerable Sector Check through Ottawa Police (if over 18 years).
3. Must be at least 17 years of age.
4. Must be available for a zoom interview with the Camp Director.
