We are seeking a strategic and analytically driven Lifecycle Marketing Manager focused on retention to develop and execute data-driven campaigns that reinforce the value of Docusign. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategies that enhance customer engagement, drive retention, and contribute to our growth and success.
You're the data-driven marketing superhero who combines B2B SaaS experience with SQL wizardry, experimentation expertise, and multi-channel campaign mastery to transform customer insights into retention-boosting strategies. Your unique blend of analytical precision and strategic creativity means you'll not only identify the hidden patterns in customer data but also translate them into personalized journeys that measurably improve adoption, usage, and ultimately, our bottom line.
This position is an individual contributor role reporting to the Director, Lifecycle Marketing.
Responsibility
Apply segmentation frameworks to deliver highly personalized messaging that addresses unique customer needs throughout their lifecycle journey
Provide strategic input during planning sessions, shape initiatives, and work effectively with marketing, product, and sales teams to achieve shared objectives
Analyze customer engagement metrics to continuously refine segmentation strategies and develop tailored communications that measurably improve adoption, usage, and renewal outcomes
Develop SQL queries across multiple data schemas to extract customer insights, analyze engagement trends, and identify opportunities
Design and execute A/B tests across email, in-product, and other channels; support the experimentation roadmap for digital experiences and document learnings to inform future retention strategies
Track key metrics, maintain monitoring dashboards, and conduct cohort analysis to measure campaign effectiveness and identify patterns that drive engagement and conversions
Leverage analytics to continuously optimize omni-channel campaign strategies throughout the customer journey, with particular focus on self-serve messaging that enhances retention
Contribute to quarterly retention OKRs and testing roadmaps, ensure accountability for results, and partner with analysts and data scientists to deliver stakeholder recommendations that connect insights to business objectives
Collaborate with the PLG team to align lifecycle marketing efforts with renewal and retention initiatives
Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including Product Marketing, Martech, Campaign Operations, and Analytics
Hybrid: Employee divides their time between in-office and remote work. Access to an office location is required. (Frequency: Minimum 2 days per week; may vary by team but will be weekly in-office expectation)

Pay for this position is based on a number of factors including geographic location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
Based on applicable legislation, the below details pay ranges in the following locations:
California: $101,500.00 - $156,750.00 base salary
Illinois and Colorado: $97,000.00 - $133,300.00 base salary
Washington, New Jersey and New York (including NYC metro area): $97,000.00 - $139,525.00 base salary
