A regional support organization is seeking Life Skills Support Workers for full and part time roles. The position involves delivering high-quality, resident-focused programs to individuals facing homelessness or related challenges, with a strong emphasis on supporting their cultural identity. Ideal candidates have post-secondary education and experience working with Indigenous communities. Competitive wages of $24/hr - $28/hr are offered, along with a full benefits package.

Life Skills Support Worker
Indigenous Complex Care Housing
(Full and Part Time)
The Prince George Native Friendship Centre requires individuals with knowledge of the health and social determinants impacting residents who may be experiencing homelessness or risk of homelessness and may be experiencing mental health and addictions. The Indigenous Complex Care (ICC) Life Skills Support Worker will deliver high quality, resident focused programs across the continuum of community services and liaise with local community supports and other service providers. The ICC Life Skills Support Worker will provide the model of service that meets professional standards and evidence-based practices. This program is designed to meet the individual needs of each resident starting from where they are in their personal and cultural journey.
