Job summary

Desjardins is seeking a Financial security advisor for life and health insurance to serve, prospect, solicit, and develop relationships with members and clients in various channels. You will promote life, health, disability and critical illness insurance and tailor solutions to individual needs.

Key duties include building strong referral networks, targeting potential client files, and monitoring industry trends to identify opportunities.

Qualifications

• College diploma in a related field.
• A minimum of two years of relevant experience.
• Knowledge of French is required.
• Hold a valid driver's licence and have access to a vehicle.
• Available to work Monday to Friday, including two evenings per week.

Responsibilities

• Sell and provide advice on life, health, disability and critical illness insurance products
• Assess customer satisfaction and service quality, follow up and make improvements as needed. Establish and maintain good relationships with referral sources.
• Help target and analyze potential member/client files
• Act on business opportunities and present information to partners so that members and clients can reach their financial goals
• Help monitor the industry to identify business development opportunities and stay on top of new products and trends
