Join our team as a Life Enrichment Aide!

Under the direction of the Life Enrichment Coordinator, the Life Enrichment Aide will be responsible for delivering Life Enrichment Services, implementing and communicating a schedule of recreational and social activities to residents and families. These activities will be offered during days, evenings, and weekends, and will include indoor and outdoor recreation, leisure, and outings tailored to residents' interests. The role also involves providing opportunities for resident and family input into activity development and scheduling.

Qualifications

• Post-secondary diploma or degree in recreation and leisure studies, therapeutic recreation, kinesiology, or a related field from a community college or university; or
• Enrollment in a community college or university diploma or degree program in a relevant field as required under the Fixing Long Term Care Act, 2021, ss. 79 and Ontario Regulation ss. 73/22 (1)
• Minimum of one year’s experience in Geriatric rehabilitation or Long-Term Care preferred
• Active interest in ongoing education
• Flexible, innovative, and creative
• Computer literate
