Objective

Provides nursing care within scope of practice to ensure patients' needs are met in accordance with standards of practice, physician orders, center policies and procedures, and applicable guidelines.

  • Demonstrates knowledge and appropriate use of the Company Infection Control Manual.
  • Participates and assists in implementing the Quality Improvement Program.
  • Uses the Quality Life Manual for patient identification, placement, and monitoring.
  • Notifies relevant departments of patient changes, e.g., room changes, LOA, new admits, discharges.
  • Conducts family and patient education.
  • Administers medications and treatments timely and according to facility policy.
  • Receives, transcribes, and executes physician orders, if permitted by Nurse Practice Act.
  • Makes rounds with physicians as necessary.
Qualifications
  • Currently licensed as LPN in the state.
  • One-year prior nursing management experience preferred but not required.
