Compensation

$29.00 - $31.00 Hourly + ($500 Bonus)

Job Summary

A qualified Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse provides one-on-one skilled nursing care to patients in their homes, following physician's orders and under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. Services are provided in accordance with agency policies.

Qualifications
  • Graduate of a state-approved practical (vocational) nursing program and licensed in California
  • 1 year of nursing experience is a plus; new graduates welcome
  • Current CPR certification
  • Alignment with the agency's philosophy and goals
  • Ability to exercise initiative and independent judgment
Responsibilities
  • Adhere to policies and procedures
  • Implement care plans for patients
  • Provide nursing treatments and procedures as assigned
  • Initiate preventive and rehabilitative nursing procedures
  • Observe and report patient reactions and condition changes
  • Educate patients and families about care needs
  • Maintain clinical and progress notes
