Job Overview

The Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) will provide nursing care within their scope of practice to meet patient needs, adhering to standards of practice, physician orders, center policies, and relevant regulations.

Responsibilities

1. Use and understand the Company Infection Control Manual.
2. Participate in the Quality Improvement Program.
3. Use the Quality Life Manual for patient identification, placement, and monitoring.
4. Notify relevant departments of patient status changes.
5. Conduct family and patient education.
6. Administer medications and treatments timely and according to policy.
7. Receive, transcribe, and execute physician orders as permitted by the Nurse Practice Act.
8. Make rounds with physicians when necessary.

Qualifications

• Currently licensed as LVN in California.
• One-year nursing management experience preferred but not required.
• Experience in Long Term Care.
• Experience with POINT CLICK CARE charting.
