Job summary

Challenger Motor Freight Inc in London, ON, is seeking an Experienced Apprentice Mechanic or Licensed Truck Mechanic (310T) to perform daily and preventative maintenance on company trucks and trailers. You will provide quality customer service to drivers, maintaining safety standards in a fleet environment.

Hours are Friday to Sunday, 6:00am–6:00pm (1 hour lunch paid). On-site, permanent, non-union position.

Qualifications

• Provincial Ontario 310T Certification (Truck) or interprovincial designation.
• OCOT registration is required.
• Apprentices must provide in-class theory completion proof.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative and scheduled repairs on company trucks and trailers.
• Review work orders from start to finish and document parts used and repair details.
• Inspect vehicles and road test to ensure repairs are complete.
• Perform Ministry of Transportation vehicle inspections as required.
