Woodbine Nissan in Etobicoke, Ontario is seeking a full-time Licensed Automotive Service Technician (310S) to join our busy Service Department. You’ll diagnose, repair and maintain modern Nissan vehicles ensuring quality workmanship.

Qualifications

• Valid Licensed Automotive Service Technician (310S) certification.
• Experience with Nissan/import vehicles is an asset.
• Strong mechanical, diagnostic and electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Ability to work independently and in a team; own tools required.

Responsibilities

• Perform vehicle maintenance, diagnostics and repairs to manufacturer standards.
• Inspect and diagnose mechanical, electrical and customer concerns.
• Communicate required repairs and timelines with Service Advisors.
• Complete warranty repairs with proper documentation for claims.
• Collaborate with Parts to ensure parts availability and timely delivery.
• Road test when required and ensure vehicles meet quality standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety of working environment.
• Stay current with evolving vehicle technology and training.

Woodbine Nissan is immediately seeking a full-time Licensed Automotive Service Technician (310S) to join our growing Service Department.

We're looking for an experienced technician who takes pride in doing the job right, works efficiently in a busy environment and wants to continue building their career with an established dealership.

At Woodbine Nissan, you'll have the opportunity to work with modern Nissan vehicles and technology while being supported by an experienced Service, Parts and Management team focused on helping you succeed.

What You'll Be Doing

• Perform vehicle maintenance, diagnostics and repairs efficiently and accurately while meeting dealership and manufacturer standards.
• Inspect and diagnose vehicles to identify mechanical, electrical and customer-reported concerns.
• Work closely with Service Advisors to communicate additional required repairs, recommendations and any changes to expected completion times.
• Complete warranty repairs according to manufacturer requirements and provide accurate documentation to support warranty claims.
• Collaborate with the Parts Department to confirm availability and timely delivery of parts required for repairs.
• Perform road tests when required to verify repairs and ensure vehicles meet our quality standards before being returned to customers.
• Maintain the cleanliness and condition of customer vehicles throughout the repair process.
• Stay current with evolving vehicle technology, diagnostic procedures and manufacturer requirements through ongoing training.
• Maintain a clean, organized and safe working environment.
• Follow all Occupational Health and Safety requirements, dealership policies and established safety procedures, including the proper use of required safety equipment.

• Experience working with import vehicles is considered an asset
• Strong mechanical, technical and diagnostic abilities
• Ability to diagnose both mechanical and electrical concerns

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment
