Job description

Are you a highly skilled Fully Licensed Automotive Technician looking for a new challenge? UpAuto Group is looking for a Licensed Technician at Ingersoll Chevrolet Buick GMC!

The Licensed Technician will be responsible for working efficiently and effectively on all customer vehicles. We are looking for exceedingly capable Technicians who are able to maintain, repair, and service vehicles with a high rate of customer satisfaction. You will be responsible for providing high-level quality customer service by ensuring all guests have an enjoyable experience at (dealer). If you have a high attention to detail, a tireless work ethic, and a strong team environment then this role is for you!

Job Duties may include :

  • Perform vehicle maintenance and repairs as assigned.
  • Diagnose the source of any malfunction and perform the repair.
  • Examine vehicles to determine if additional safety or service work is required.
  • Explain procedures and repairs directly to the Service Advisors.
  • Perform road tests and safety inspections.
  • Conduct other duties as assigned.

Successful Candidates Possess :

  • Automotive Technician License (310S) or candidates who have completed / enrolled in an Apprentice program
  • Strong Aptitude of technical / mechanical repairs.
  • Valid Driver’s License (Class G) and a clean driving record.
  • The ability to work in a team and possesses strong interpersonal skills with an upbeat and engaging attitude.
  • The ability to operate manual and automatic transmissions.
  • ODP Licence.
  • Drive Clean-Light Duty Inspector Certification.
