Job summary

Alberta Health Services is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for Unit 23 General Surgery - Trauma at Red Deer Regional Hospital. You will contribute to safe, patient- and family-centred care as part of an interprofessional team.

Requirements include completion of an accredited practical nurse education program, active or eligible LPN registration with CLHA and BCLS-HCP certification. Temporary part-time position available with shifting days and rotation.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited practical nurse education program.
• Active or eligible for registration and a practice permit as a Licensed Practical Nurse with CLHA.
• Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP).

• Provide safe, high quality, patient and family centred care within an interprofessional health care team.
• Apply nursing processes, critical thinking, problem solving and decision making per legislation, standards of practice, policies and procedures.
