Alberta Health Services in Red Deer is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse - Operating Room Technician to join Red Deer Regional Hospital Centre. The ORT will provide nursing care in the intraoperative phase and perform both scrub and circulating duties, supporting surgeons and anesthesia teams in a dynamic operating room environment.

Strong communication, teamwork and adaptability are essential as you collaborate with perioperative staff to ensure patient safety and efficient case flow.

Licensed Practical Nurse - Operating Room Technician

Red Deer Regional Hospital Centre serves the community of Central Alberta. Our Operating Room consists of 9 OR theatres that specialize in General Surgery, Orthopedic - Trauma and Total Joints, Plastics, Gynecology, ENT, and Urology. Our multidisciplinary team includes Surgeons, Anesthesiologists, Perioperative Registered Nurses, ORTs, Respiratory Therapists II, and support staff. As an ORT in the operating room, you will be responsible for providing nursing care in the intraoperative phase. You will be responsible for both the scrub and circulating role.
