Job summary

Your Opportunity:

A candidate with strong interest, experience and ability to provide family-centered nursing care to newborn patients and families is required. A candidate with certification in a relevant specialty area and leadership training is preferred. Successful applicant will: Competently utilize nursing process in providing direct patient care to high risk infants in a level 2B NICU. Involve and advocate for the family in all matters of care. Disciplined and family centered care environment. Independently and effectively make decisions and able to adapt to changing situations. Organize and set priorities. As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), you are part of an interprofessional health care team, utilizing nursing processes, critical thinking, problem solving, and decision making skills. You will be guided by your education, experience, and demonstrated skill level, in alignment with applicable legislation, standards of practice, policies, and procedures. You will play a key role in providing safe, high quality, patient and family centred care while reflecting the shared vision and values of the organization.
