Alberta Health Services seeks a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit in Red Deer Regional Hospital. The role centers on providing safe, high‑quality, family‑centred newborn care in a fast‑paced NICU environment.
You will work with an interprofessional team, applying nursing processes, critical thinking, and decision‑making to support families and infants. Shift flexibility and ongoing professional development are expected.
A candidate with strong interest, experience and ability to provide family-centered nursing care to newborn patients and families is required. A candidate with certification in a relevant specialty area and leadership training is preferred. Successful applicant will: Competently utilize nursing process in providing direct patient care to high risk infants in a level 2B NICU. Involve and advocate for the family in all matters of care.
