Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), Visiting Nursing - Temporary, Part-time 0.8

Join us as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in the Visiting Nursing program at VON Canada. This is a temporary, part-time position based in Lunenburg County, with an anticipated end date of June 2025.

Requisition Details:

  • Employment Status: Temporary, Part-time (0.8 FTE)
  • Hours Bi-Weekly: 60
  • Work Schedule: Evenings, Weekends
  • Union: NSNU
  • On Call: Yes

Your Responsibilities:

  • Providing medical care to clients across Nova Scotia in their homes and communities
  • Managing diabetes, dialysis, medications, palliative care, phlebotomy, wound care (including negative pressure therapy and complex wounds), and more

Qualifications:

  • Licensed Practical Nurse registered in Nova Scotia
  • Community health experience is an asset
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle
  • Criminal Records Check and Vulnerable Sector Search required
  • Ability to wear PPE
