We are currently seeking experienced Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to work in long-term and acute care facilities in the Sechelt area.

This role offers above-average wages, travel compensation, and accommodation.

Shifts include early morning, afternoon, evening, and overnight, with consistent hours and a set schedule until further notice.

Responsibilities
  • Provide nursing care according to established policies, physician’s orders, resident care plans, and within the scope of practice of an LPN.
  • Apply sound nursing principles to ensure high-quality nursing and personal care.
  • Manage resident admissions, orientation, transfers, and discharges safely and promptly.
  • Ensure proper handling and safekeeping of drugs and narcotics, following protocols on all shifts.
  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care to meet residents' physical, psychological, emotional, spiritual, cultural, and social needs.
Requirements
  • Active registration with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives.
  • Ability to work with infectious diseases.
  • BLS Certification.
  • Valid First Aid & CPR.
  • Proof of immunizations for MMRV, recent TB skin test, and Hepatitis B.
  • Current Vulnerable Sector Police Check.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Flexible availability for shifts of 8 or 12 hours.
  • Willingness to float between units as needed.
  • Reliability in adhering to scheduled placements.
  • Compliance with RhynoCare Healthcare shift policies.
