Northern Health - BC invites a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse to join Peace Villa. In this role, you will provide compassionate nursing care, perform assessments, and help develop care plans for patients in a supportive team environment.

You will work rotating shifts (days and evenings) from 07:00 to 15:00 and 15:00 to 23:00, under supervision of the Clinical Supervisor or designate. Commitment to high-quality patient-centered care is essential.

Qualifications

  • Current LPN license in British Columbia.
  • Knowledge of Nursing Process and patient assessment.
  • Ability to provide compassionate patient care.
  • Ability to work rotating shifts.

In accordance with the established mission, vision, values, and strategic priorities of Northern Health, and under the general supervision of Clinical Supervisor or designate, the Licensed Practical Nurse applies Nursing Process, performs assessments, plans, provides nursing care, and may provide direction to other staff.

The LPN operates in accordance with the expected competencies within the Entry to Practice Competencies, Scope of Practice and Standards of Practice as outlined by BCCNM, as well as within a client and family centered care model and according to organizational policies, procedures, standards and unit specific protocols.

The LPN will support clients and families to achieve and maintain optimal health by performing the following duties and responsibilities.

Shift Rotation/Hours of work: Days, Evenings, 07:00 to 15:00, 15:00 to 23:00 (rotating)
