Job summary

Actionmarguerite seeks a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide professional nursing care for designated residents, including administration of prescribed treatments and collaboration within the health care team. This position supports independence and coordination of care and discharge.

Starting September 6, 2026, 0.8 FTE (part-time evenings, 15:15-23:30). Term ending Feb 26, 2028 with potential extension. Open until filled.

Qualifications

• Current active practicing registration with CLPNM.
• Graduate of approved Licensed Practical Nursing education program.
• Certificate in CPR.
• Experience in gerontological nursing.

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) provides professional practical nursing services to designated residents including independent nursing services, administration of prescribed medical treatments, collaboration and interaction within the health care team and participation in the coordination of resident care and discharge. Starting Date: September 6, 2026

Shift and Hours of Work: 0.8 FTE - part-time-term-evenings, currently 15:15-23:30

Pay Scale: As per MNU Collective Agreement

Specifications: Term ending February 26, 2028 with 2 weeks' notice and possibility of extension. Assignment and hours of work are subject to change at any time as per operational requirements.

Required Qualifications

Education and Experience

• Current active practicing registration with CLPNM;
• Graduate of approved Licensed Practical Nursing education program;
• Certificate in CPR; and
• Experience in gerontological Nursing.

• Ability to communicate in both official languages (French and English) is required, (English only for AMSJ);

This position is designated bilingual (French/English - AMSJ exempt.). All Nurses are hired for the facility. Employees may hold more than one position in different Actionmarguerite facilities, where the sum total of hours does not exceed 1.0 full-time equivalence.
