Job summary

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) with Actionmarguerite delivers professional practical nursing services to designated residents, including administration of prescribed treatments, and works with the care team to coordinate resident care and discharge.

This 0.4 FTE, part-time evening position (15:15-23:30) is designated bilingual (French/English) and requires active CLPNM registration, CPR, and gerontological nursing experience where possible.

Qualifications

Graduate of approved Licensed Practical Nursing education program.
Current active practicing registration with CLPNM.
Canadian Nursing Association Certification in Gerontological Nursing is an asset.
Certificate in CPR; and
Experience in Gerontological Nursing.

Responsibilities

Provide professional practical nursing services to designated residents, including independent nursing services and administration of prescribed treatments.

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) provides professional practical nursing services to designated residents including independent nursing services, administration of prescribed medical treatments, collaboration and interaction within the health care team and participation in the coordination of resident care and discharge. Required Qualifications

Education and Experience

Graduate of approve Licensed Practical Nursing education program;
Current active practicing registration with CLPNM;
Canadian Nursing Association Certification in Gerontological Nursing an asset;
Certificate in CPR; and
Experience in Gerontological Nursing.

This position is designated bilingual (French/English). All nurses are hired for the facility. Employees may hold more than one position in different Actionmarguerite facilities, where the sum total of hours does not exceed 1.0 full-time equivalence.
