We are searching for a part-time non-guaranteed (no guaranteed hours) Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our Losier Hall team based in Miramichi, New Brunswick.

About the Opportunity

  • Assessing, planning, implementing, evaluating, documenting, and directing resident needs in consultation with medical professionals, care conferences, and staff;
  • Providing leadership to health services staff and overseeing the provision of quality health services respecting residents’ rights to individualized care;
  • Collaborating with management and health services teams to promote communication and policy compliance;
  • Administering and recording prescribed medication according to company policy and scope of practice;
  • Maintaining accurate and complete documentation and reporting;
  • Applying dressings and treatments as per physician’s orders and policy;
  • Supervising and evaluating healthcare staff performance and behavior.

About You

You value continuous improvement, collaboration, and accountability, and bring:

  • Active registration with the Association of New Brunswick Licensed Practical Nurses (ANBLPN);
  • Flexibility to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays;
  • Valid CPR & First Aid or BLS certification;
  • Ability to provide a clear criminal record check with vulnerable sector screening upon hire;
  • Proficiency in English; French skills are a plus;
  • Courses in Alzheimer’s and Dementia Care are advantageous;
  • Experience working with seniors in long-term care or senior living environments is preferred;
  • A passion for healthcare and ensuring seniors receive quality care and accommodations.
