Job details
Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years. Tasks: Administer medications. Apply aseptic techniques including sterile dressing. Conduct specimen collection. Monitor nutritional intake. Observe and record medication's therapeutic and side effects . Record medication's therapeutic and side effects observations in patient files. Provide nursing services, within defined scope of practice, to patients based on patient assessment and care planning procedures. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses: Eligible for licensure as a practical nurse by the province/territory of work. Security and safety: Criminal record check. Vulnerable sector check. Transportation/travel information: Own transportation. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Work under pressure. Physically demanding. Attention to detail. Personal suitability: Client focus.
