About The Job

The Licensed Practical Nurse:

  • Coordinates Home Support Services by supervising Licensed Practical Nurses (CCLPNs), Community Health Workers (CHWs), and other unregulated team members. Oversees the implementation of client care plans, provides training and evaluation of staff, and advocates for improvements in client care.
  • Collaborates with the interdisciplinary team to perform assessments, make nursing diagnoses, and provide personal and nursing care for clients in a community health setting.
  • Operates within the scope of practice outlined by the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM) and adheres to organizational policies, procedures, standards, and protocols.
Position Details

This is a casual opportunity. Casual employees are not guaranteed hours and may work from 0 to 37.5 hours per week as needed.

Shifts are scheduled for days and evenings, with times including 06:30 to 14:30, 08:00 to 16:00, 06:30 to 14:57, 13:33 to 22:00, and 14:00 to 22:00 hours.
