About The Job

The Licensed Practical Nurse:

• Coordinates Home Support Services by supervising Licensed Practical Nurses (CCLPNs), Community Health Workers (CHWs), and other unregulated team members. Oversees the implementation of client care plans, provides training and evaluation of staff, and advocates for improvements in client care.
• Performs assessments, makes nursing diagnoses, and provides personal and nursing care for clients in a community health setting, in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.
• Operates within the scope of practice outlined by the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM), following organizational policies, procedures, standards, and unit-specific protocols.

This is a casual opportunity. Casual employees are not guaranteed hours and may work from 0 to 37.5 hours per week on an as-needed basis.

Shifts are scheduled days, rotating from 08:00 to 16:00 hours.
