Chilliwack General Hospital (CGH) is a University of British Columbia affiliated community hospital, whose role is to provide primary, core secondary, and some specialty services including 24/7 emergency and acute care, general and internal medicine, cardiac care, obstetrics, general surgery and certain surgical subspecialties, inpatient and outpatient care. CGH also provides inpatient psychiatric care for adults along with outpatient detox for adults with substance use issues.

Under the direction of the Manager, Clinical Operations or designate and in collaboration as a member of a multidisciplinary team; performs assessments, plans, implements and evaluates nursing care. The LPN operates in accordance with the competency guidelines and full scope of practice within the Standards of Practice as outlined by the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM), and according to agency operating policies and standards and unit specific protocols.
Education and Experience
Graduate of a recognized practical nursing program or equivalent combination of education, training and experience. Current practicing registration as a Licensed Practical Nurse with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM).
