Licensed Practical Nurse - Foot Care Nurse

This is a contract position for a Footcare Nurse at Summerland Seniors Village in Summerland, BC. Hours will vary based on appointments booked by residents.

Services To Be Provided

1. Lower limb assessment including circulation and sensation as well as skin and nail assessment.
2. Nail trimming and filing.
3. Diabetic clients.
4. Callus and corn reduction.
5. Pain assessment as needed.
6. Nail thinning as needed.
7. Foot massage with lotion.
8. Referrals to other health care professionals as needed.

Qualifications/Pre-Requisites

1. Graduate of an approved program for Practical Nursing and holds a current license with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM) as an LPN.
2. Proof of annual criminal records check.
3. Proof of G.S.T. Registrant Status.
4. Proof of Sole Proprietorship or Incorporation.
5. Proof of personal insurance up to $2,000,000.
6. Proof of professional insurance up to $2,000,000.
7. Proof of any applicable membership or license registration required by the jurisdiction within which the Facility is located.
