The Opportunity

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), reporting to the Director of Care, is responsible for providing planned, patient-oriented, goal-directed nursing care in accordance with provincial standards of care.

What Is In It For You

• Be part of an inter-professional team applying a person-centered approach to care.
• Ensure resident care assessments, plans, and documentation are accurate, current, and communicated appropriately.
• Implement and evaluate care plans, making adjustments as needed.
• Assist with scheduling and participate in resident care conferences.
• Coordinate resident move-ins, move-outs, and transfers with the Director of Care.
• Provide direct resident care, medication administration, and document all care following regulatory standards and policies.

What You Will Need

• Current LPN registration in the applicable province/state.
• Experience in senior care settings preferred.
• Education and experience in gerontology, rehabilitation, or long-term care are assets.
• Strong communication, critical thinking, care coordination, time management, and customer service skills.
• Demonstrated clinical knowledge.
• Current Basic Cardiac Life Support and First Aid certifications.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Vulnerable Sector Check and Criminal Background Check (or willingness to obtain).
