The Brenda Strafford Foundation is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (Casual) to join our multidisciplinary team in Alberta. The LPN will assess, plan, implement and evaluate resident care, working with RNs and HCAs to meet the needs of our seniors.
Responsibilities include monitoring health status, processing physician orders, coordinating care plans, supervising nursing staff, administering medications, and documenting changes.

The Licensed Practical Nurse works as a member of the multidisciplinary team, collaborating on the delivery of care to meet the needs of residents. The LPN provides care to residents whose health condition and needs are well defined and established, predictable with little fluctuation over time. The LPN assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates the care of our residents and works in consultation with HCA and RN colleagues and others to meet the needs of more complex patients.
