We are looking for a compassionate and caring Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our amazing care team in one of our beautiful-assisted living and long-term care facilities, Discovery Harbour Care Centre in Campbell River, BC.

Facility : Discovery Harbour Care Centre

Location : 850- 14th Ave., Campbell River, BC, V9W 4H4

Permanent Full time, 4 on 2 off, Evenings (2 Vacancies)

Permanent Full time, 4 on 2 off, Nights

Permanent Full time, 4 on 2 off, Days

Temporary Full Time, 4 on 2 off, 2 Days 2 Evenings , (2 Vacancies)

Compensation : Starting at $32.84 per hour _+ benefits after probation period for full-time applicants_

Responsibilities

Performs assessments.

Plans, implements, and provides personal and nursing care to residents.

Administers oral and subcutaneous medications in accordance with pharmaceutical and organizational policies and procedures

Directly supervises care staff to meet resident's needs.

Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Graduation from an accredited Licensed Practical Nursing Program.

Current registration with the College of Licensed Practical Nurses of BC.

Current CPR and First Aid certification.

Excellent communication skills both verbally and in writing.

Knowledge and background in Dementia care (preferred).

Cultural education and experience are preferred
