Job Overview

Elk Point, located within Treaty Six territory, offers a scenic setting in east-central Alberta, with a population of approximately 1,500. The community provides various amenities including an arena, library, water spray park, housing, schools, and healthcare services. As an LPN, you will be part of a multidisciplinary team working in the Acute Care and Emergency Room departments, providing safe and quality care in accordance with CLPNA standards and AHS policies.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, patient-centered care in acute and emergency settings.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to deliver comprehensive care.
• Follow nursing practices, policies, and guidelines of Alberta Health Services.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited practical nurse education program.
• Active or eligible registration with the College of Licensed Practical Nurses of Alberta (CLPNA).
• Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP).
